A wise trader once said, "If the status quo really worked then everyone would be rich."

I'm here to tell you that I did NOT follow the status quo to become a profitable trader. Neither fundamental nor technical analysis led to my success. I don't make decisions based on news headlines, either. Don't bother asking my opinion on market pundits...you probably agree that most are clueless.

I started Options Appetite in 2018 first and foremost to show retail traders that you don't need a background on Wall Street to become profitable. Yes, I started my career there but I quickly learned that Wall Street really just wants to sell you. Warren Buffett said it best, "Wall Street is the only place that people ride to in a Rolls-Royce to get advice from those who take the subway."

Unlike the turkeys on Wall Street, my approach to the stock market actually makes sense. I am a probability-based options trader. Every time I make a trade, I know exactly my odds of making money. I don't make absurd predictions or pretend to know where the S&Ps are going to close on the year. Instead, I trade a strategy with a positive expectancy and I let the numbers play out.

My strategy is rules-based and mechanical. As such, I tilt the odds in my favor and create real "edge." My mission at Options Appetite is to share my process and help frustrated retail traders become consistently profitable.
